Eleonora joins the label with a special mini album - In My Cave.

Russian artist Eleonora Zaripova realised music was her dream early on learning piano as a child. Besides several jazz projects, Eleonora mainly found herself experimenting with trip hop and indie-electro music. Her courage to play with sound has set her apart and now she finds herself signed to high profile outfits such as iconic Berlin label Get Physical, Nick Warren’s The Soundgarden and Aly and Fila’s FSOE, TAU, KATERMUKKE and many more. A versatile performer, Eleonora has also collaborated with a number of artists including CIOZ, UNDERHER and D-Formation.

The EP is split across 6 outstanding cuts. Opening is ‘Collective Mind’, a sombre downtempo piece that builds to a climactic finale. ‘Hurricane’ is a melancholy vocal treat backed by intricate broken beats and drummy polyrhythms. ‘In My Cave’ is haunting. Soft piano and icy synths capture deep winter in all its glory. Half steppy ‘One Two’ aches with soulful anxiety as muted keys and sultry vocals combine in rapturous ecstasy. ‘The Doom’ is a dark and broody breaks cut with deliberate synth lines adding to the overall edginess. Finally, ‘Will It Ever Be Enough’ rounds out the mini album with an uptempo vibe and powerful lyrics.
